Simple Wood Frame
Today i ve got a quick and easy project for you all.
Simple wood frame. On an end cap is a pile of this wood. I removed the canvas and look what i found. Since sherry had painted two canvasses i repeated the process with another piece of scrap wood to make a second frame.
Wooden frames are great for photos posters chalkboards and anything else you can frame. I took out various sizes of canvases that i had along with a pair of flat nose pliers. And with that it s no surprise that we re more and more drawn to a streamlined look when it comes to furniture and decor too.
A super cute wood frame. Some of those small boards can be totally splintery and curvy. Gone are the days of tufted upholstered numbers and in are sleek simple wooden options like the ones below.
These can even be made from recycled materials if you have some extra scrap wood. Take bed frames and headboards for example. Really cheap and you can get about 2 whole frames 8 pieces from each one sometimes more depending on size.
You can see them just resting together in this photo nothing was secured yet. For the main part of the frame. The clean lines make this design work in most homes from modern to more traditional styles.
I turned over a canvas and used my flat nose pliers to remove all the staples around the canvas frames. Making a wooden frame of any size is a fun project for kids that doesn t require too much advanced technique. Just like that i had the sides to my simple wood frame all sliced and diced.
